German market leader in PV solar electricity expands dealer network

Alzenau, 12. Februar 2004 – RWE SCHOTT Solar with its headquarters in Alzenau, Germany signed new dealer contracts with SolarMarkt GmbH and Energiebau Solarsysteme GmbH in Germany.

SolarMarkt GmbH, a Freiberg-based wholesale supplier of modules, inverters and systems has nineteen years experience in solar business. Over this period the company has been involved in planing and realisation of many large project installations. Originally spun off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (FhG ISE), the company today has fourteen employees and sales of 6 million Euros.

The Energiebau Solarsysteme GmbH, the Cologne-based system-integrator started up in 1983 and thus belongs to the most experienced suppliers of photovoltaics on the German market. One of the core competencies of Energiebau is developing and producing own mounting systems. Today the company has twenty-one employees and sales of 22 million Euros.

The two companies are considered by RWE SCHOTT Solar to operate to a quality and service philosophy that is consistent with its own high standards.
