EMC: Erneute Verlängerung des Übernahmeangebots für Iomega

 

SCHWALBACH. Die EMC Corporation wird die Frist seines Übernahmeangebots für alle ausgegebenen Aktien der Iomega Corporation bis 17.00 Uhr Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) am Freitag, dem 06. Juni verlängern. Diese Fristverlängerung wurde gewährt, um der Europäischen Kommission ausreichend Zeit für eine Prüfung des Übernahmeangebots zu geben.

 

EMC hatte am 24. April 2008 ein Kaufangebot von 3,85 US-Dollar je Aktie für alle ausgegebenen Aktien von Iomega gemacht. Bis zum 30. Mai 2008 wurden 44.984.469 Aktien angeboten. Dies entspricht etwa 82 Prozent des Gesamtvolumens.
